A perennial succulent, with stems growing upto 8 inches in height, with a basal rosette of white-spotted fleshy leaves arranged in a spiral pattern, and racemes of tubular pinkish-white flowers in spring. This Haworthia is very diverse in appearance with many varieties and forms. However its smooth upper and striped lower surfaces leaves are usually recurved, differentiating it from Haworthia Fasciata whose leaves (of the same pattern) are spread outward. Hardy and sun-loving, it may prefer semi-shade in summer and grows best in well drained soil. Water sparsely. A great plant to add to your collection of small plants and an ideal plant for a desert miniscape.
