This lily is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial with a preferred habitat in streams and ponds or on river banks. It can grow upto 1 meter tall and produces large clumps of broad, arrow shaped dark green leaves with spectacular, large inflorescences. At the center of the spathe is a fragrant yellow spadix, much like the Peace Lilies of Spathiphyllum and some Anthurium species. Easy to care for these plants work well in large containers or on contained areas or paths (as they can become invasive if conditions suit them). The plant on sale may or may not be in bloom at the time of sale, but will bloom in time. This particular variety of Calla Lily has dark green leaves speckled with white. Two varieties of blooms are available - purple and yellow.
