A perennial succulent. Its stemless, sprouting, pointed leaves form a rosette. However its smooth upper and striped lower surfaces leaves are usually pointed outward, differentiating it from Haworthia Reinwardtii whose leaves (of the same pattern) are grow upward in an overlapping way. Hardy and sun-loving, it may prefer semi-shade in summer and grows best in well drained soil. Water sparsely. A great plant to add to your collection of small plants and an ideal plant for a desert miniscape.
